Trevor Jung serves as Transit & Mobility Director for RYDE Racine, the City of Racine's public transportation system.
While in this role, Racine, Wisconsin has electrified or secured funding for the electrification of almost 40% of its transit fleet, launched a new mobile phone application for the public, fostered greater institutional partnerships resulting in increased ridership, and acquired federal support for solar infrastructure at RYDE Racine's bus storage garage. Before assuming his current position, Trevor earned his Urban Studies degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and was twice elected to the City of Racine Common Council.
Trevor loves his hometown and has made Racine the cause of his life, being the youngest member to serve on the Racine Common Council since 1862. While serving the 9th District, Trevor championed modernizing public services, advocated for sustainability initiatives, and prioritized quality of life in Racine's diverse neighborhoods. When not on the job, Trevor enjoys bicycling, trips to Racine's Downtown and North Beach, and listening to his favorite artist Bruce Springsteen.
